Estimated White Glove Delivery Timeline
For in-stock oversized furniture orders using room-of-choice or white glove delivery, the estimated total delivery time is usually 35 to 60 business days from the order date.
This estimate includes order processing, international freight when applicable, customs clearance, local hub routing, final-mile carrier coordination, and delivery appointment scheduling.
Product pages, checkout, order confirmations, or carrier tracking may show a more specific estimate for a particular item. If a product-specific timeline is shown before purchase, it should be reviewed together with this policy.
What White Glove Delivery May Include
When available and purchased or confirmed for your order, white glove delivery may include:
Delivery appointment scheduling
Delivery to an eligible room of choice
Basic placement of the item in the selected room
Limited unpacking
Packaging removal when included by the carrier service level

What White Glove Delivery Does Not Include
Unless specifically confirmed in writing, white glove delivery does not include:
Electrical work
Plumbing
Wall mounting
Structural installation
Assembly requiring special tools, contractors, anchoring, wiring, or permanent installation
Moving, removing, or disposing of existing furniture
Hoisting through windows, balconies, or other non-standard access points
Delivery through unsafe or restricted access areas
Door, railing, wall, stair, or fixture removal
Correction of building access issues
Storage after a missed appointment
Customer Responsibilities Before Delivery
Before your delivery appointment, please confirm that:
The delivery address and phone number are correct
Someone 18 years of age or older will be present
The path from the delivery entrance to the room is clear
Doorways, hallways, elevators, stairways, and rooms can accommodate the item
Building management has approved the delivery window
Elevator reservations, loading dock access, parking access, and front desk approval have been arranged if required
Certificate of insurance requirements have been communicated to us before the delivery date if your building requires one
Pets, fragile items, rugs, artwork, and valuables are secured
Measurements and Access
Customers are responsible for confirming that the item will fit through all access points and into the intended room.
Please measure doorways, elevator openings, stairways, hallway turns, entry gates, and the final placement area before purchasing. If an item cannot be delivered because of access limits, building restrictions, missed appointments, or inaccurate information, additional fees may apply.
During Delivery
Please inspect the item and packaging during delivery when possible.
If there is visible damage, note it with the carrier and contact us at support@themodhome.com within 48 hours. For freight deliveries, this may mean noting the issue on the delivery receipt or bill of lading before signing.
Please keep all packaging until any delivery issue has been reviewed.
Missed Appointments and Access Issues
If a delivery appointment is missed, refused, or cannot be completed because the carrier cannot access the address, building, elevator, room, or delivery path, additional fees may apply.
These fees may include re-delivery fees, storage fees, return freight charges, or other carrier costs.
Service Availability
White glove delivery is not available for every product or destination. Service availability can also depend on local carrier coverage, item size, and building access.
