Themodhome wants customers to enjoy furniture that is properly handled, cared for, and used as intended. This page explains general warranty support and care guidance.

Warranty Support

Warranty coverage may vary by product, supplier, manufacturer, and item category.

If a product includes a specific manufacturer warranty, the details may be shown on the product page, included with the item, or provided upon request when available.

If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, contact support@themodhome.com with your order number, product name, photos, and a description of the issue.

Warranty support does not usually cover:

Normal wear and tear
Misuse, neglect, improper care, or improper cleaning
Damage caused by assembly, installation, moving, storage, or handling after delivery
Exposure to extreme heat, moisture, direct sunlight, outdoor conditions, or unsuitable environments
Natural variation in wood, stone, leather, fabric, metal finish, or other materials
Commercial use unless the product is specifically approved for commercial use

Natural Material Variation

Furniture materials may have natural differences in tone, grain, veining, texture, markings, and finish. These variations are part of the material character and are not usually considered defects.

General Care

Always follow product-specific care instructions when provided. General care may include:

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth
Clean spills promptly
Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners
Use coasters, placemats, and protective pads where appropriate
Keep furniture away from excessive moisture, heat, and direct sunlight
Lift furniture when moving instead of dragging it
Check and tighten hardware periodically if applicable

Delivery Damage vs. Use Damage

Delivery damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item, packaging, shipping label, and affected area.

Damage that occurs after delivery due to use, assembly, moving, storage, cleaning, or handling may not be covered as delivery damage.
